Free Epilepsy Detection and Treatment Camp , Nashik

Dear Sir,

Epilepsy Foundation in Association with National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) conducts regular Monthly Camp in Maharashtra for detection and treatment of epilepsy. The First Camp was held on 08/04/2012 at Jawahar (Thane) & 2^nd Camp at Ratnagiri on 27/05/2012 & 3^rd Camp at Satara on 24/06/2012 we saw 553 Patients suffering from epilepsy of which 130 underwent EEG testing. 222 pts were treated by the Psychologist, Physiotherapist, Occupation Therapy & Speech Therapy during the camp, 43 pts underwent CT Scan of Brain.

The Camp is highlighted by Free EEG, Free Medication for 3 Months to all patients, Free CT Brain / MRI for needed patients, besides medical checkup, Physiotherapy, Occupation Therapy & Speech Therapy. Metropolis Lab is doing free antiepileptic drug level for all needed Patient for the first time.

This Month Camp will be on 22^nd July, 2012 at Civil Hospital, Nasik.
