Christmas Day celebration at Free Epilepsy clinic on Tuesday 25.12.12

Epilepsy foundation India celebrates Christmas with Patients at Free Clinic

Christmas, the festival of joy on 25^th December 2012 this year was celebrated in a unique way by the team at Epilepsy Foundation. Christmas this year was on Tuesday, which is the day when we conduct “free epilepsy clinic”

However, even though it was a holiday, we went ahead with the free clinic since it would not be Christmas for our patients if they were not treated on time or given their medications.So we decided to celebrate Christmas with the patients this year and share the happiness and joy together.

 Along with regular check up and counselling of 85 patients, there was a band singing Christmas Carols along with Santa Claus who played with all the children along with giving them chocolates and cold beverages

 A colouring competition was also organised for all the children (patients) with around 35 participants and the Top 3 winners(first prize to  Master Parmar Amir ali , 2nd prize to Mansi Kanoji 3rd prize to Sakshi Sirke), Veena Patil and Ronak Shah  were given special prizes by the Trustee of Epilepsy Foundation Mrs.Seema Surya .

 The children and their parents had a very good time and it was a good feeling for the entire team at Epilepsy Foundation to see the smiles on all the faces of patients and their care givers.
